“Mr. President, just yesterday I joined a colloquy with my freshmen Republican Members on the importance of our national security, the importance of our troops, the importance of the threats that are currently facing our Nation. My dad is also a marine. Of course, Alaska is home to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Senator Mike Rounds, the former Governor of South Dakota. He is a great businessman, and he resides in South Dakota, which is also the home of Ellsworth Air Force Base. Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado serves on the Foreign Relations Committee.
