“while we all in this body mourn the deaths of our six heroes, we should remember that earlier, as a deputy commander of the Special Forces of Iraq, I lost many friends as a result of Iran sponsoring weapons targeting. One of them was Command Sergeant Michael Stack killed by Iranian weapons and targeting in April 2004. We should also recognize in Gaza the murder of over 2,000 innocent civilians in unspeakable ways would not have happened without the direct support of Khamenei and his evil regime and partners, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. Iran is an evil empire--not the people--the Khamenei regime, which controls their great Iranian people and does not allow prosperity. This resolution is pretty simple: for us all to recognize that evil exists, and the Khamenei regime is the epitome of evil.”
