I want to echo his comments about the importance of this provision. PNP irrigators provide a valuable service to communities in many western states and their continued fair treatment under FEMA policies is the right thing to do. I extend my thanks to Chairman Inhofe, Chairman Smith, and Senator Graham in working to address this matter, both in Committee and here today. As this measure makes its way through the legislative process, I hope we can count on the Senator's continued assistance in protecting the interests of PNP irrigators.
