I have watched Senator Specter over the years, and I can say I do not think there is a Senator with a finer legal mind than the Senator from Pennsylvania, particularly from a criminal law perspective, constitutional law perspective, and a prosecutorial perspective as a former prosecutor in Pennsylvania.
