Senator Harkin, I agree with you that this is an issue we need to address. As you know, I intend to work with Senator Grassley to move a Medicare reform package early in 2008. Given the importance of this issue, I am committed to working with you to find solutions that will assist these hospitals within the context of our Medicare efforts.
