“I have looked at the Senator's amendment. It is a good idea. I support it. There are a few little wrinkles that I want to look at to make sure the definitions coincide with the definitions for income taxes excluded for combat zones and make sure all those declarations are the same and equitable. That is just a minor matter. We will work that out. I commend the Senator for offering this amendment.”
