This bill extends three of my longstanding trade priorities, Trade Adjustment Assistance, TAA, the Generalized System of Preferences, GSP, and the Andean Trade Preference Act, ATPA. And GSP and ATPA support thousands of jobs here in the United States and provide livelihoods for millions of people in the developing world as well. If we do not act, these programs will expire on December 31.
