Senator Hagan from North Carolina and I wrote an amendment to the Food Safety and Modernization Act to make sure that small farmers selling directly to local consumers would not face the same regulatory burden and scrutiny as the large agribusinesses.
Tester collaborated on an amendment to protect small farmers from heavy regulations.
