Can you briefly describe the actual criteria for the compassionate home confinement?
I know several of us are disappointed that we had funding--this committee appropriated funds for a 12th National Security Cutter only to see the President's budget remove those funds.
I think it is kind of a shame that, you know, if some of the people on the other side of the aisle would put national security and the American people ahead of partisan politics, then he wouldn't have to be, in the terms of my colleague…
This President, in his 3 short years, he made a commitment to rebuild our military, strengthen our Nation, and put America first, and he has fulfilled--and he is fulfilling those commitments.
You know, something that I like to bring up in these hearings, whether it is DoD or Homeland Security, is a conversation about the Jones Act.
