H.R. 2309, the Rights for Transportation Security Officers Act, introduced by Homeland Security Committee Ranking Member Bennie Thompson (D-MS) and Appropriations Committee Ranking Member Nita Lowey (D-NY), repeals the authority of TSA to unilaterally set the terms and conditions of employment for 44,000 TSOs.
