On March 21, 2013 Rep. Bennie Thompson, Rep. Eric Swalwell and Rep. Cedric Richmond, along with 133 other Members of Congress sent Administrator Pistole a letter expressing concern about the changes in the PIL.
Thompson and others expressed concern over TSA's lack of consultation with stakeholders.

At a time when DHS is rightly warning about an elevated threat environment from terrorists and cartels, we should be focused on plugging security gaps rather than senselessly creating new ones.
