Bennie Thompson: “This workload has hindered efforts to address workforce challenges, including hiring, training, and retention.”

This unlawful policy is a smokescreen to deny Member visits to ICE offices across the country, which are holding migrants – and sometimes even U.S. citizens – for days at a time.

Suffice to say, disaster response is no joke.

If ICE has nothing to hide, DHS must make its facilities available.

Essentially turning them into 'jails,' which the Mississippi Democrat says would constitute a misuse of the facilities.
