The Congressional Budget Office says the child deportation act would ``decrease the population of the United States by about 600,000 people, mostly by reducing the number of unaccompanied children present in the country.'' Republicans claim to be concerned about exploitation and abuse of unaccompanied children, but their answer is to slam the door shut and deport them from the United States.
