There you have it. House Republicans have an hour to debate a nonbinding symbolic resolution but not even a few seconds to do the job that would actually pay our DHS workers. This is the Republican DHS shutdown.

The department was using flat out wrong anti-union talking points.

If ICE has nothing to hide, DHS must make its facilities available.

At a time when DHS is rightly warning about an elevated threat environment from terrorists and cartels, we should be focused on plugging security gaps rather than senselessly creating new ones.
