Madam Chairwoman, let me thank you again for convening this hearing to call attention to the intrusive restrictions that are threatening the health and well-being of thousands of women in my congressional district and home State.

I would hope this would not be the Census taken in our Nation's long history that will be followed by an asterisk as incomplete or not a full count because of selfish political reasons.

You are not just talking the talk when it comes to speaking out about ending the stigma related to addiction, you are walking the walk.

We should be ashamed of what we are doing in this committee today.
