We are grateful to Congressman Nehls (R-TX), along with Chairmen Sam Graves (R-MO) and Garret Graves (R-LA), for their leadership on this issue.

I missed a series of votes today. Had I been present, I would have voted YEA on Roll Call No. 492.

This represents 30 percent of the total funding provided by the IIJA.

We must maintain the user pays principle, and find some solutions for putting the Highway Trust Fund on a more sustainable fiscal path.
