The baseline for safety for commercial aviation is zero, zero fatalities and zero accidents.

It is important that we, as I said, learn, and that we make air travel even safer.

But any actions Congress or regulators consider have to be based on facts, and not panicked desire just to do something.

We need to take every single lesson we can extract from these accidents and make sure that we learn from them.
