I appreciate the opportunity to present written testimony on the Department of Interior's fiscal Year 2023 Appropriations for the National Park Service and its historic preservation programs.

The U.S. must also continue to pursue engagement through multilateral fora, including the U.N., to affect positive change in China.

This is really about, I believe, our foreign policy, the very core interest of our country, how we are seen around the world, our national security, our economic success, our fundamental values.

There is a long tradition of bipartisanship in this committee, how we should be standing side by side when we are dealing with attacks on our people overseas.
