“Mr. President, the White House started out this week with all kinds of activities on the White House grounds pertaining to things that we make here in America and the importance of manufacturing and, frankly, the kinds of good jobs that have traditionally come with manufacturing. When we have an economy that focuses on making things and growing things, that has always been the strongest economy for working American families--an economy that competes, an economy that produces.
