I would like to thank my Florida colleague, Congressman Maxwell Frost, for introducing this important bill, which I am proud to cosponsor.

This bill amends the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act, otherwise known as UOCAVA, which is how that we ensure that our servicemembers overseas have their right to vote protected and facilitated.

I would also like to discuss today a program with the Capitol Police, Chief Manger, the Special Assistant United States Attorney program.

the function of tabulating and certifying election results is something that is done by the States, and that I believe that this is not something that we should be including in the American Confidence in Election Act.
