We should start by suspending the gas tax, including the tax on diesel. We could take 20-30 cents off the top immediately by doing that.

They don’t need any tax breaks. That’s just corporate welfare. They don’t need that stuff. If they want to build data centers, then they have to do it on their own dime.

If that’s what the House is able to pass, I’m certainly happy to take that and to work with it.

At the end of the day, they’re a product, and if you make that product in a reckless kind of way, and that product causes … significant harm and damage — they crash a hospital ER, they shut down a bank so that folks can’t get their money —…
