The legislative clerk read as follows: A bill (S. 2163) to establish the Commission on the Social Status of Black Men and Boys, to study and make recommendations to address social problems affecting Black men and boys, and for other purposes. There being no objection, the committee was discharged and the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
