I believe what has happened today stands on the shoulders of the work by many of the most distinguished Members of this body in the last decade. The renewable fuels standard is the biggest single reason I sought to get on the Energy Committee. I am proud to be one of the cosponsors of the amendment and to be associated with what is going to happen today.
