Salary differentials. Foreign Service staff officers and employees at the posts referred to in section 401, above, shall, while such posts remain Foreign Service differential posts, be paid additional compensation in the form of salary differentials at rates not to exceed 25 percent of the basic salary rates of the staff corps pay schedule, in accordance with such regulations as the Secretary of State may prescribe.
