I have supported it. I am a cosponsor of the amendment of the gentleman from Colorado and the gentleman from Texas. Some of us have struggled and fought. We came close, 9 votes one year, 12 votes, if I remember right, last year. We may see a culmination. If we don't, we are going to continue to fight. It was not a contract with America that started us on this effort. It was because some of us feel that we need to have a constitutional amendment for a balanced budget, but a sound one, one that makes sense, not a three-fifths majority, and that we need to do that in order to arrive at balancing the budget in the future.
