Cori Bush: “I am here because of people.”

This cycle, the momentum met me. The community asked me to run. The community came to me and said, ‘Cori, where is our fighter?’

Did I call them fascists? No. There was a rise in fascism, starting with the Trump administration.

It pisses me off that for the next two years this community will be represented by someone that didn’t deem you valuable enough to show up to one candidate forum where there were audience comments.

As stated by Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, a genocide is happening in Gaza, stated by all of those different organizations and more. Yes. Now, funding for other things that they may need - I have no problem with that.
