Well, first, I want everybody to slow down a little bit. We are still the underdogs in this election. And I am speaking as someone in 2018, we picked up 40 seats in the House but we still lost four senators.
This is really, really bad. What they’re saying is, if you criticize the president of the United States, as an elected member of Congress, we will silence you.
Just because more people are giving to Democratic candidates doesn`t mean there aren`t mega-donors in the back room writing five, 10, $20 million checks to try to get the candidates of their choice that are on the other side.
I think that, fundamentally, voters do understand that we have very, very low unemployment. They see it in their families, that everybody has jobs, everybody can get jobs, their jobs are paying slightly better.
