I believe that Americans want the President and the Congress to work on the challenges before our Nation and the problems affecting our lives. Personally, I would like to be able to devote my time to working on health care reform, to ensure that every American has health insurance that cannot be taken away if you change jobs, if you become ill or if someone in your family becomes ill.

I see the very generous budget request for VA, $115 million for healthcare for homeless veterans.
It seemed to me that that policy was designed to bail out lenders on their risky investments but did little to save a home with a risky loan for the homeowner.
