Charles Q. Brown: “Our veterans deserve it.”

This legislation is trying to address a health issue by offering cash instead of needed timely treatment and I strongly oppose it.

I think consulting with tribes is the first step and devoting more resources is another big step.

We need to remember taking care of veterans needs to be figured in as a cost of war.

This law was a positive first step in addressing what was then a burgeoning epidemic of suicides in the veteran community.
