I am concerned that there is a perception that there is no accountability within VA, and that the agency is not using its current authorities to manage its workforce effectively.

Let me add that women, one of the fastest growing groups of the military, are committing suicide, and I hope VA is targeting our female veterans, making sure that they get the help that they need.

There is nothing I want to do more as a Member of Congress than to find ways to help homeless veterans with families.
