There are even instances where the administration gave these children to adults without simply checking or vetting if the adult had even abused children or had a relationship with them in the past. Madam Chairman, this level of neglect and callousness is unspeakable, and we must ensure the Department of Homeland Security has the resources necessary to investigate each and every case.…”
