Mr. Speaker, I thank the gentleman for yielding. Mr. Speaker, I rise to support the Superior National Forest Restoration Act. For the last 3 years, the domestic mining industry in Minnesota and around the country has been under assault. Mining supports good-paying jobs, and it is critical to our economy and national security. However, rather than putting Minnesota miners to work, those opposing this legislation would rather rely on China and Russia to supply our critical materials making us less secure and causing greater environmental harm. This bill strengthens Minnesota's economy while promoting a safe and clean energy supply. I thank Congressman Stauber for his relentless work on this issue, and I urge all of my colleagues to support his bill. {time} 1345
