I want to thank you, Dr. Outlaw, for that articulate statement on crop insurance.
I understand why people are hesitant to speak out sometimes, but we need to cultivate those relationships and hope that not tomorrow, but longer-term, this will turn in the right direction.
I am glad that Congressman Walz is here, and you mentioned about your trip to Tibet.
We should not be in the business of picking winners and losers, and we should make sure that these industries have the opportunity.
If we are producing energy in America, regardless of where it has come from, that is a good thing.
There is a perception issue both in what they are going to get and what they expect to get.
I think we need to take more of the lead on this. I think we need to make sure, because I think as science moves along, the research possibilities are still out there, and I think we are shutting doors.
