Republicans snuck in a provision that blocks this House from voting on resolutions that could end the tariffs. They know these tariffs will cost families an extra $1,200 a year, and they are scared to vote for them. So instead of letting Congress do its job, they are shutting down debate. They are hiding, and they are shielding themselves from any accountability. Do you know who is going to feel the pain, Mr. Speaker? It is working families and small businesses who are already struggling with high costs. It is farmers who are already the victim of retaliatory tariffs.
