It is an honor to serve with all of you in Congress and be working on the Small Business Committee to try to move things along here in rural Minnesota.

If agriculture suffers, so does our district.

If you do not have a secure border, everybody can keep just running over the border.

We do not criminalize people like they do in almost every other country around the world for overstaying visas.

But we have a problem in our Nation with people overstaying their visas.

But I think that sometimes what gets lost is the problems are exacerbated because of bad government policies, mostly at the Federal level.

We need support for these things across the board and across the aisle.

The President's plan though does not call for 100 percent merit-based.

Maybe this weekend when you have the governor down for the Fishing Opener you can talk to him a little bit about that.

I appreciate the testimony of all the witnesses and congratulations on building up small businesses, successful small businesses.

You are the embodiment of what it means to be a small business person.
