We are confident that passage and implementation of USMCA will deliver opportunity and certainty to Minnesota's farmers, manufacturers, labor force, and consumers.
We encourage your Administration to formally submit USMCA to Congress as soon as possible.
My parting statement is that rural America has been overlooked for far too long, and we are working real hard to turn that around.
Let's be honest, if we don't have people living in these areas, it doesn't really matter what industries we have, we are still going to suffer.
I support the concept, for instance, that our veterans should be able to choose their own doctors and hospitals.
It is an honor to serve with all of you in Congress and be working on the Small Business Committee to try to move things along here in rural Minnesota.
It seems like this telemedicine concept would really be helpful there, especially if they could see somebody face to face.
If you do not have a secure border, everybody can keep just running over the border.
