Capitalism is always compassionate, because without producing wealth, you have no wealth in order to help people.

I don't think this bill that is coming along, $3.5 trillion, whatever it is, with all sorts of taxes, regulations, higher cost energy, I mean, I don't know a small business out there that says higher-cost energy is going to do the trick.

If you are going to be giving out government grants, let's make sure that everyone has the same opportunity.

Let's hope this hearing can shed light on why defunding the police is a dangerous idea with deadly results.
