The Food and Drug Administration does keep pretty good records, and we know that thousands of people have become ill and died as a result of eating imported foods that were contaminated with some kinds of food-borne pathogens. As best we know, with the latest numbers we have over the last 10 years, the number of people who have died as a result of taking a legal drug imported from an industrialized country, that number is zero.
