I think if every American would think through the arguments about this, I would think every American would thank the President today. He did the right thing. He did the right thing for the environment. As was said earlier, this is not a choice between clean air and clean water. He made the right choice for the environment. He made the right choice in terms of energy independence and he made the right choice in terms of rural America and helping us find new markets for things that we can grow and produce in abundance here in the United States. I would like to paraphrase President John Kennedy, he said, you know, we all inhabit this same small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's future. And if I might parenthetically add, we are all environmentalists. We all want to leave this country and this world a better place. Ethanol is a big part of the solution.
