I must reemphasize in some of the conversation we have had here today, it is particularly troubling to me actually, that these hearings have persistently asserted that it is a violent Islamic extremist ideology promoted by al-Qaeda and not--but let me reemphasize that--not the religion of Islam that is driving the radicalization to homegrown terrorist activity.
