I just want to assure the gentleman that, first of all, I do not look for a banning of all timber harvest, and this is based more on economics than it is based on anything else. The fact is that I understand the gentleman's need for jobs and employment in this area, but I think, as my colleagues know, the jobs and dollars that are spent in the Park Service also produce jobs. The dollars spent in the Park Service also produce economic activity. It is a question of what these dollars subsidize.
