I appreciate this hearing because, No. 1, we are acknowledging that there is a problem.
Party leaders are wildly out of touch with our voters.
It leads to waste. It does, yes. It is about transparency and accountability.
I want my colleagues to hear this, especially one colleague. I think there could be a bipartisan effort here.
