“Remember, this is the model that says the taxpayer puts in a dollar and 60 to 65 cents makes it to the classroom. On the other hand, this model says we have gotten rid of all this stuff in the middle and the taxpayer puts in $2, and it only costs the government a dollar. So here we grow our investment in education and we grow it for all students, public schools, private, parochial schools, we grow the dollar. In this one we shrink it. What a sharp contrast.”
