I come from the private sector, and I am absolutely amazed. The first time a problem comes up, everyone wants to whip out the taxpayers' checkbook because, hey, just spend more money.

Why would we allow that to continue multiple years? I mean, this is a pretty fundamental thing if these people are involved, vulnerable populations.

They are borrowing money right now at a guess they can succeed and move their career forward on a hope and a prayer because they do not have information.
