Through the invention of the ready-to-eat breakfast cereal in 1906, W.K. Kellogg provided widespread access to a broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals for the first time. Think about this: W.K. Kellogg stood up an entire industry that didn't exist before he invented the corn flake in Battle Creek, Michigan. Breakfast cereal has grown to become one of the most widely eaten foods around the world.
