Had the bill been read, I don't think it would have passed. On top of repealing this law, we must reform how business gets done in the Capitol. That's why I've introduced the Read the Bills Act. The law is easy to understand: before we pass laws which will impact millions of hardworking Americans, Congress must read the bill. This is the kind of bill that will help restore the faith in Congress of those who send us here to represent them.…”
