The antidote to avoiding consolidation in agriculture and thus keeping farmers and ranchers independent and family owned is to ensure that the safety net works for regular full time farm families.

Planting flexibility is extremely important to farmers, both economically and agronomically.

I am very appreciative of all the work that you have done in the past and are doing now to help farm families like mine carry on the important work we do for the country and for people around the world.

From a rice perspective, if we were to lose so much acreage that the infrastructure could not be maintained, we would lose the U.S. rice industry--and once lost it would not come back.

I believe that Chairperson Newland is more likely to provide wise and meaningful leadership.

We want to make sure those fish will be up there to get up there since time immemorial.

I just really urge you to look at increasing the PRC. It would help every area, not just the Portland area.
