These refuges are treasures, to be enjoyed by millions of people every year who want to hunt, fish, or just enjoy the outdoors.

Establishment of a refuge does not instantly make the Federal Government a steward of an area of land.

I hope everyone will take these companies at their word instead of falling for smoke and mirrors from my friends on the other side of the aisle.

I raise this issue today because the NRC will soon be considering a proposal to dispose of this waste in a nearby mill site.
