I have a prepared statement which I will personally submit for the record.

I find it deplorable, disturbing, and downright devastating--to you, to GM, to folks in Michigan who live and breathe pride in our auto industry, but most of all, to the families of the victims.

I want to compliment the gentleman from Arizona for his tireless leadership on behalf of his constituents.

Figures don't lie, but liars can figure.
