I begin by commending my colleague on Judiciary, Trey Gowdy, for introducing this bill and being the sponsor of it. I agree with everything that has been said. I would like to ask my colleague about a shooting I read about just today--it wasn't a mass killing, but some of these things are so awful--a 17-year-old young girl athlete shot mysteriously. Do you see that that might be a role that we may want the FBI to be able to intervene in if they are invited as well?
